Hmmm.  Because Hayashi is running and he's beating me in Go-karts right now so.  He's so slow in car racing.  I enjoy punishing him.

I think most NSX Files readers have always wanted to get a solid answer on something. Who would win in a fight between you and one Mr. Douglas Hayashi? 

Well Doug and I have been racing for a long time.  He is consistent whereas I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself and screw up spinning or blowing a motor.  But he has been having a lot of car problems these days.  I've been a little faster these days so I've got him on the run.  He's trying everything to pump up the horsepower on the NSX and it's biting him in the ass.  His NOS escapades cost him a bundle trying to beat me.....and he never did.....just a big BANG!

Yah, it's kind of cool when I can go to Kragen and pick up parts for my car in a track emergency and they have to look for the nearest Porsche dealer 100 miles away.

As you probably know, many OTC participants are “newly single”. I don’t know what the epidemic is, but I’m pretty sure it’s because we aren’t spending enough time with our gals because we are scheming and preparing for OTC. You’re engaged to be married, Mello…how are you keeping a happy home and preparing to lay wood at OTC? 

Let's not jump the gun here.  I'm not engaged yet.  Did Hayashi tell you that? I'm afraid my girlfriend will change after the marriage and not let me race or gamble anymore.

Not to stray too far from the topic of all of us losing our girlfriends and wives (sometimes even both….the horrah!), but Hayashi told me about a niiiiiice little system you ran using AOL, searches for females under 21, and a picture of you and your Ferrari. Please share your system with your OTC Brethren. Help us. 

Well, that was a while ago.  Well...at least 1.5 years ago.  I shouldn't put this in writing because it could come back to bite me but AOL is 30,000,000 people and half of them are women and half of those are under 21 girls looking for guys.  AOL has this nifty little thing called the directory that you can be specific in what your looking for.  So, you just enter "Female single" or get more specific and enter "cars" "racing" or even "Ferrari" or "NSX".....ba-bing....100 girls pop up online that are logged in.....ready and willing.  And driving a bright yellow Ferrari 355 GTS makes it a whole lot easier.  That car made me 6 ft tall and a movie star.
