Danno is a self-unemployed beach bum. After spending 6-years at UCSB in the pre-Med program, he decided at the very end that he didn't want to be a doctor after all. Instead he started his own computer consulting business. He enjoys shooting big guns and hunting helpless little varmits. As an adrenaline junkie, he likes sky-diving, bungee-jumping, para-sailing, rock-climbing, bull-fighting, car-racing (all the true sports, the rest are games), bike racing, motorcycle racing, cat & dog racing, and anything having to do with speed! Jay is the owner of DST-Racing, which is a shop specializing in the ultimate performance upgrades for Porsche and VW. Services include engine-building, heads port & polish, cam-indexing, custom exhausts, etc. Upgrades include custom JE pistons, valve-train conversions, custom clutches, shifter linkages, etc.

What was the rationale behind your team entering OTC?
Have fun! Drive like a madman and not get busted by cops.  To perform well in Touring 2, and to show that the 944 Turbo is still a viable competition contender.

Let's settle this once and for all....is the 944 a "real" Porsche? The 911 Guys have aired some concerns.
The 944 is more of a Porsche than a 911 (which started life as the Volkswagen Bug based 356). The 924 was a clean-slate project designed to be a sportscar by Porsche for VW. It was then brought back in-house to become the 944. The 944 Turbo (951) was another evolution sharing very little with its smaller sibbling (except for the body), and was meant to be a replacement for the 911. In fact, when it debuted in early '86, it was the fastest Porsche on the market. Well, it says PORSCHE on the back, it drives like a true sportscar.. Forget the 911 guys, their mentality is on par with Small Block Chevy patriots....Stuck in the stone age.
Be straight with me...how many times, on average, will you be attempting to cheat at each track?
What ?@#! Cheat? We don't cheat! Actually we don't even NEED to cheat! It's called making the most of the rules! As many as we can, without drawing any attention to ourselves... hehe, watch your valve stems closely ;)

What do you think the winning lap time for the "Lil Scooter Race" will be at Willow Springs?
There's going to be a scooter race? Where do I sign up...? Can we run by RollerDerby rules? 2:33 sec....
Mike and Lou have already gone on record claiming to be the impending Touring 2 champs. How does that sit with your team?
Well, if Mike can make his brake-pads last more than 2 laps, he might have a chance at keeping up with us. And Lou's going to blow up a couple of apex-seals, so he's got that V6-automatic rental on the sidelines that should be real fun to mess with. The only competition we anticpate is that guy with the '01 M3... Like a hole in the head... I dont want to speculate till the green flag drops. We'll give it our best though, thats for sure!

There are a lot of Porsches entered in this event in almost every class. Are you guys going to be money enough to seal the deal on the Constructors Championship?
Yah, we've got that locked up. Not even gonna worry about Constructors Championship. Unless of course we catch some of our Porsche brothers getting beat unfairly. In which case, we may have to resort to judicious use of tacks... Hopefully, but again that is a subjective comment.
What are you guys doing to prepare for OTC?
Watch lots of Speedvision. Everyone knows watching 1000 miles of racing on TV is like practicing 100. With thousands of hours racked up to date, we'll be the fastest guys out there! Lots of intense, extracurricular rally-esque dirt driving in my
locale... And drinking lots of GNC shakes...
What does the average 944 owner think of NASCAR?

National Association for Secrecy and Censorship in Auto Racing, Nasticar, Mascara, NASCRAP...

All OTC drivers need to become a member of MEAN - Motorsport Enthusiasts Against NASCAR

Go fast, turn left, repeat.....
What do you think the average NASCAR fan thinks of the 944.
What be dat dangit! *Umm, gee, that dont look like a Porch to me* or * Can I get this with a cupholder?*

That's it, guys. Anyone you want to thank?
